1957.8.27	生於香港，排行第六，乃家中幼子 Born in HK, the youngest of six
1963	崇仁學校幼稚園畢業 Graduated from Sung Yan Kindergarten
1964-1976	威靈頓小學及中學 Wellington Primary and Secondary School
1976-79	華僑日報記者 Wah Kiu Daily reporter
1978-83	麗的電視新聞部記者 (後期轉為亞洲電視) RTV (later ATV) news reporter
1983-85	留學日本修讀語文，於京都同志社大學專攻新聞學 Studied Japanese in Japan. Studied Journalism at Doshisha University, Kyoto
1985-97	任職港台電視部公共事務組 RTHK Public and Current Affairs Unit
1989-91	珠海新聞系兼任講師 Chu Hai College Journalism Department part time lecturer
1990	娶張惠儀為妻 Married Vivian
1995	中大兼讀學士學位畢業 Graduated from CUHK Part Time Degree Course
1997	與妻赴紐西蘭一同修讀政治學碩士 Studied Political Studies with Vivian at Auckland University, New Zealand
1999	奧克蘭大學碩士學位畢業 Graduated with a master degree
2000-04	有線電視新聞部 Cable TV News
2004.2-10	旅遊休息 Traveling
2004.11	移居紐西蘭 Emigrated to New Zealand
2005.2	奧克蘭大學暫取博士生 Accepted preliminarily as a doctorate fellowship at Auckland University
2005.4	患結腸癌，5月證實肝轉移 Sigmoid colon cancer with liver metastasis
2005.6 - 2006.1	在廣州就醫 Medical treatment in Guangzhou
